If yes, exceeding what speed ? (range is 1-255 miles per hour):
Would you like to be notified when the ignition has been turned off for an extended amount of time ?

For example, putting 4 here means that 4 hours after the ignition is turned off, you'll be notified.
If you put 1 here, every time the ignition is turned off and an hour goes by with inactivity, you'll be notified. Note that this can use alot of polls each day.

If yes, what voltage ? (options are 9.5 or 10.5 volts):
For Security purposes, would you like to be notified if the vehicle's battery is disconnected (ie. it suddenly loses power by the battery cable being disconnected, battery cable being cut, battery drilled out to drain the acid, etc.) ??

Note: The included backup battery is then used to power the black box in order to notify you.

GeoFence Alerts can be turned on and off at any time through the internet.

A GeoFence is a dynamic, circular region with a predefined radius that is centered on the car's present location. If the car goes outside of the circle, you'll receive a report.

Example of using this feature: Your son is driving an hour away and spending the night at a friend's house. He arrives and you speak with him on the phone at the friend's house. You tell him to stay at the house; don't go out cruising around. He agrees but how can you be sure ? Here's how: You get on the internet and turn on a 1/4 mile GeoFence based on where the car is now, at the friend's house. If he drives away from the friend's house more than 1/4 mile, you'll be notified. In the morning you get on the internet and turn the GeoFence off.

What radius should be used? (range is 0.25 to 655.35 miles):
[The most common number specified is 0.25 which is 1/4 mile. This tells you if the car starts traveling from it's present location very far.]
Electronic Fencing Alerts are available where you're alerted if up to 10 predefined rectangular or circular geographical regions have been crossed. Would you like to specify any boundaries ? No
Yes
If No, go on to the 'Continuous Reports' section following this.

If Yes, you'll need to draw up to 10 rectangular or circular regions on some maps and fax, email or snail mail them to us. We'll determine the global latitude and longitude coordinates from these maps. Then these coordinates will be programmed into the black box. Please see this web page about shapes to put on the maps: http://www.alltrackusa.com/map_shapes.jpg

Most common methods used to give us maps:
-Photocopy map(s) and draw rectangles/circles for the regions. Then fax them to us. Our fax # is (770) 801-1858.
-Go to MAPQUEST.COM and print a map zoomed in or out as required. Then draw rectangles/circles for the regions and fax them to us. Our fax # is (770) 801-1858.
-Take a store-bought map, draw rectangles/circles for the regions and mail them to us. Our address is
Alltrack USA
3374 Landrum Drive
Smyrna, GA 30082-2721
-Go to MAPQUEST.COM and save a map zoomed in or out as required as a file. Then draw rectangles/circles for the regions with a graphics software package and email them to us. The email address is

These regions can be any size; for example, your home's property, a block, a neighborhood, a city, even an entire state. For a specific house or building, it's best to give us the actual street address (for example, "5310 Maple Avenue") or address range (for example, "5310 to 5475 Maple Avenue").

For each region, write down whether you'd like to be notified if they ENTER that region, EXIT that region or CROSS the boundry of the region (ie. ENTER OR EXIT the region).

An example of being notified when a car ENTERS a region: You have a rectangular region specified around where your son works after school. You want to be notified when they ENTER that region so you'll know that he's arrived safely at work.

An example of being notified when a car EXITS a region: You have a circular region around where your daughter goes to school. You want to be notified when they EXIT that region so you know that she's left school.

Continuous reports can be turned on at anytime through the internet to report the car's location, speed and
direction for a block of time.

Example of using this feature: If the car is stolen, you can go onto the internet and turn on these reports.
The car will immediately start reporting it's location, speed and direction every X number of minutes and you can see a map of it on the computer screen.

Setting the numbers at the right to 8 and 15 means that you'll receive 8 reports at 15 minute intervals.
Setting the numbers to, say, 50 and 7 means that you'll receive 50 reports at 7 minute intervals.

If you ever turn this feature on, how many continuous reports would you want to receive consecutively ?
(range is 1-255; 0 means infinite number of reports. The most common number specified is 8.):
The reports should be sent to you at what interval of time in minutes ? (range is every 1-255 minutes. The most common number specified is 15 minutes.):
Optional Time Triggers The black box in the vehicle can store up to 10 Time Triggers to things for you on a schedule. For example, every day at noon report the vehicle's location. Or Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8:00 pm report the vehicle's location. You can specify as many as you'd like; or none if you prefer. The following Time Triggers are available: (The first 4 here use up 1 poll when executed because the black box is calling in information.) Location Request Today's Fastest Speed Report Miles vehicle was driven (running total since unit installed) Report Hours vehicle was running (running total since unit installed) Set Default Geo-Fence Clear Geo-Fence ReEnable Starter Disable Starter Also, things can be done on a schedule for you through the web site that you'll be using. These can be changed at any time through the web site and are less permanent than Time Triggers which are programmed into the black box. The following can be done through the web site on a schedule for you: (Each of these uses up 1 poll when executed because the web site calls the black box in the vehicle.) Optional Technical Input/Output settings Most people don't use these but they're available to you. If you'd like to use any, select the options on the right that you prefer between the two.
An extra Output from the black box can be executed by you over the internet or with any telephone to operate a device on the car. It sends out a ground for either 3 seconds (the default setting) or for 1/2 second.

Common uses for this:
-A 3 second ground is sent to lock the doors.
-A 3 second ground is sent to trigger relays to turn on or off a light on the dashboard.
-A 1/2 second ground is sent to make the car's horn honk for 1/2 second.
3 seconds
1/2 second

An extra Input into the black box can be hooked up in the car to detect if a car alarm goes off (the default setting) or to to turn the GeoFence on or off by pushing a button.

For the alarm setting, a ground of 15 seconds means we'll notify you of this as a car alarm alert.

Note: There is another built-in input available that is designed for detecting a car alarm going off. It detects a ground at some point within each of 5 consecutive three second intervals.

For the GeoFence button, a button on the dash would turn on or off the GeoFence feature. This is useful for valet parking to be sure the attendant isn't driving your car far away while you're detained. If the car is driven outside of the current GeoFence mileage range, an alert is sent out as a GeoFence alert.

An Available Extra Input can be used for either (1) "Motion Detector" (the default setting), (2) hooked up in the car to a Roadside Assistance button or (3) to tell you if the engine is overheating.

If left "Motion Detector", a small motion sensor is included and used to increase accuracy of GeoFence and Electric Fence monitoring.

For the Roadside Assistance setting, a ground is detected for 2 seconds by a button in the car that you provide. An alert is sent to you as a Roadside Assistance alert.

For the Engine Overheat setting, a ground is detected for 2 minutes, usually from a ground to an 'engine overheat' lightbulb on the dash. An alert is sent to you as an Engine Overheat alert.
