(5) The black box in the car reports it's longitude and latitude to AlltrackUSA.
(6) That car's location is posted on Alltrack USA's web site.

Poll Specifications
Real-time Location, Speed and Direction = 1 poll (1 from website to car)
Request car's location using the internet or with any telephone. With the internet, a map on the screen will enable you to zoom in and out on the clearly-marked car to see where the car is right now. With a telephone, an automated voice tells you the car's location. Useful to see where your teen
is 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week.
Speed Threshold Alert = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
Alerts you if vehicle's speed exceeds a predetermined maximum for a minimum duration of time.
* Max 1 per hour to keep polling count from getting out of control.
Electronic Fencing Alert = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
Alerts you when predefined, geographical boudaries have been crossed. Up to 10 rectangular, circular or triangular regions can be specified.
GeoFence Alert = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
A dynamic, circular region with a predefined radius that can be centered on the vehicle's current location via the web or with any telephone and which triggers a report when the vehicle is outside of this region.
Fastest Speed = 1 poll (1 from website to car)
Ability to retrieve the vehicle's fastest speed of the day via the web or with any telephone.
Continuous Reports = 1 poll to initiate (1 from website to car) Then 1 poll used per report.
Continuous reports can be turned on at anytime through the internet or with any telephone to report the car's location, speed and direction for a block of time. Convenient if you need to know the car's location for several hours and don't want to manually request car's location repeatedly.
History Review = 0 polls
Review all interactions that you've made with the car: Location Requests, Speed Threshold alerts, Fastest Speed requests, etc. from the past 3 months.
Car Alarm Notification = 2 polls (1 from car to website, 1 acknowledgement notice back to car)
Notifies you when your vehicles factory/aftermarket alarm goes off for at least 15 seconds (it detects a ground going to the siren/horn for atleast 15 seconds) -OR- it looks for a ground at some point within each of 5 consecutive three second intervals. Receive notification by phone or email of car's location, speed and direction.
Remote Vehicle Door Unlock = 1 poll (1 from website to car)
Ability to unlock vehicle doors via the web or with any telephone. Useful if teen locks the keys in the car.
Remote Starter Disable / Enable = 1 poll (1 from website to car)
Ability to interupt the vehicle's starter via the web or with any telephone. Useful if car is stolen.
(Note: 2 polls if the vehicle is running)
Operate user defined item = 1 poll (1 from website to car)
Turn ON/OFF a 12 volt item of your choosing via the web or with any telephone: horn, lights, radio, etc. ($37.95 hardware add-on required to do this)
Low Battery Notification = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
Alerts you when your car battery falls below a predetermined configured voltage. This notification can be turned off if desired.
Stationary Report = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
Alerts you when the unit's ignition has been turned off for a predefined number of hours. This report can be turned off if desired.
Time Triggered reporting = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
The car can report its location, speed and direction to you on a schedule at up to 10 pre-determined times of per day/ day of week/ day of month. Time Triggers can also be set to report the fastest speed driven that day and where, turn the GeoFence on/off for you; even disable the starter on a regular schedule for you !!
Engine Maintenance Report = 1 poll (1 from car to website)
Reports number of hours of cumulative engine on-time. This report can be turned off if desired.

Power Usage
The black box is designed to operate reliably even if the vehicle is parked for long periods of time.
